The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has announced a special relief measure for MDCAT candidates holding an Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) domicile who were unable to complete their registration through the official online portal. The decision ensures that eligible students are not deprived of appearing in the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) due to technical or registration issues.
According to the latest PM&DC public notice, only AJK domicile holders who could not successfully submit their applications online are eligible for this facility. Instead of using the portal, candidates can now submit their applications in hard copy to the council.
Applicants must send a completed application form, a bank draft of Rs. 13,000 in favor of PM&DC Islamabad, and all required supporting documents to the Examination Department, PM&DC Head Office, G-10/4, Mauve Area, Islamabad. The council has instructed students to ensure their applications reach the office within the announced deadline and during official working hours.

This decision comes as a significant relief for students who faced difficulties during the online registration process. It reflects PM&DC’s efforts to provide equal opportunities to eligible candidates from all regions, particularly those affected by technical or administrative issues.
Candidates are advised to carefully verify that all required documents are attached before dispatching their applications. Incomplete applications or submissions received after the prescribed deadline may not be entertained by the council.

The MDCAT is the mandatory entrance examination for admission to MBBS and BDS programs across Pakistan.
