The announcement provides clarity for students, parents and teachers ahead of the reopening. Parents are advised to confirm their child’s exact reporting time with the respective school, particularly where a school operates in multiple shifts.
The Punjab government has previously issued official notifications for school schedules through the School Education Department, making the department’s notifications the most reliable source when timings or reopening arrangements change.
Students returning after the summer break should therefore be prepared to follow the new school timings from August 24, while schools and district education authorities are expected to ensure implementation of the revised schedule.
