Government College University (GCU) Lahore has officially started admissions for its latest academic session, offering students an opportunity to enroll in a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. As one of Pakistan’s most respected higher education institutions, GCU continues to attract thousands of applicants from across the country every year.
According to the university administration, admissions are available in 120 academic programs, including 63 BS programs, 41 MS/MPhil programs, and 16 PhD programs. Students can submit their applications through the university’s online admission portal before the closing date.
The admissions process covers both the Main Campus Lahore and the Kala Shah Kaku (KSK) Campus, allowing students to choose from a diverse range of disciplines. Programs are being offered in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Studies, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Life Sciences.
A major highlight of this admission cycle is the introduction of a new Associate Degree Program (ADP) in Computer Science at the KSK Campus. The program has been designed to provide students with practical and industry-relevant skills in the rapidly growing technology sector. University officials believe the initiative will help prepare graduates for emerging opportunities in Pakistan’s digital economy.
In addition to regular merit-based admissions, self-finance seats will also be available for eligible candidates. The university has also released schedules for sports trials and co-curricular activity assessments, enabling talented students to seek admission through additional categories.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to carefully review the eligibility criteria, merit policies, fee structure, and program requirements before submitting their applications. Incomplete applications or those submitted after the deadline may not be considered.
