The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced an extension in the submission schedule for Class 10 annual examination forms for 2026, providing relief to thousands of students across the city.
According to the updated notification, students can submit their online matric exam forms without any late fee until February 13. The decision applies to both regular and private candidates, including students from the Science Group and General Group.
The extension is expected to ease pressure on students and parents who were facing difficulties meeting earlier deadlines. In a special move, government schools have been allowed to submit examination forms without paying any fee, following directives issued by BSEK Chairman Ghulam Hussain Soho.
The board has, however, made it clear that no further extension will be granted beyond the announced schedule. Once the free submission period ends, a graded late-fee system will come into effect.
Late fees will begin from Rs500 and gradually increase based on the delay. After March 17, forms will only be accepted with a maximum late fee of Rs2,500.
Students have been strongly advised to complete the process early to avoid extra charges, technical issues, and last-minute complications as exams approach.
