Several educational boards in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have started announcing the schedule for the SSC 2nd Annual Examinations 2026, giving Class 9 and Class 10 students another opportunity to improve their academic results or clear failed subjects.
According to the schedules announced so far by BISE Malakand and BISE Kohat, the examinations are set to begin from October 7, 2026. Other KP boards may issue their own notifications separately, so students should follow their respective board for the final schedule.
The SSC 2nd Annual Examination is particularly important for students who could not pass one or more subjects in the first annual examination. Eligible candidates may also apply for marks improvement, additional subjects, reappearance and qualifying subjects, subject to the rules of their respective board.

For students applying under the currently announced schedules, the normal-fee deadline is September 2, 2026. However, the deadlines for late, double and triple fees are different for each board.
For BISE Malakand, applications with a late fee can be submitted until September 7, while the double-fee deadline is September 15 and the triple-fee deadline is September 21, 2026.
Meanwhile, BISE Kohat has set September 10 as the last date for applications with double fee and September 18 for applications submitted with triple fee.

Regular candidates generally submit their admission forms through their schools or institutions, while private candidates can use the online admission facility provided by their respective board.
Students should also keep their required documents and previous examination details ready when submitting the admission form. After the admission process, boards will issue roll number slips and detailed date sheets through their official channels.

The official BISE Malakand website currently provides online examination services, notifications and roll number slip facilities for students.
It is important to note that the October 7 start date should not automatically be treated as the final date for every KP board. Examination schedules can vary by board, and students should check the notification issued by their own BISE before making travel or preparation arrangements.
For now, the announced schedules from BISE Malakand and BISE Kohat indicate that the KP SSC 2nd Annual examinations will begin in early October, giving thousands of students another chance to complete, improve or strengthen their matriculation results.
