The University of Education (UE) Lahore has started accepting applications for fully funded IT and digital skills courses under the Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development Programme (PMYSDP). The initiative aims to equip university students with high-demand digital skills that can improve their employment opportunities in Pakistan and abroad.
According to the university, the training is available for eligible students enrolled at UE Lahore campuses. The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic education and industry requirements by providing hands-on learning in emerging technologies.
Students can choose from several in-demand courses, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Full-Stack Development, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Data Science, UI/UX Design, Business Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, and Advanced AI Literacy. These fields are among the fastest-growing technology sectors globally.
To qualify, applicants must be studying in the fourth semester or above of a BS degree programme at a University of Education Lahore campus. Students from Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business, Commerce, Data Science, and other related disciplines are eligible to apply.

One of the biggest advantages of the programme is that it is completely free of cost. The scholarship covers 100% tuition and training expenses, provides learning materials, and includes an international certification exam fee of up to $600, allowing students to earn globally recognized credentials without any financial burden.
The University of Education has encouraged interested students to submit their applications through the CDLBM scholarship portal before the deadline. Applicants must complete the online registration form and provide the required academic and personal details.
Students are also advised to verify the opportunity through official University of Education communication channels before uploading sensitive documents such as their CNIC or educational records, as the application form is hosted on the CDLBM platform rather than the university’s official website.
The initiative reflects the government’s continued focus on promoting digital education, youth empowerment, and workforce development. By offering practical training in modern technologies, the programme aims to prepare students for careers in the rapidly evolving IT industry while strengthening Pakistan’s digital economy.
