FDE Announces Admission Schedule for Islamabad Model Colleges

The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has officially launched HSSC-I (First Year) admissions for the 2026-27 academic session in Islamabad Model Colleges. Students who have successfully passed their SSC Part-II (Matric) examination can now submit their applications through the official online admission system.

According to the FDE admission notification, the online registration process has started and will remain open until August 5. The registration process is completely free, and applicants can also receive assistance from designated Islamabad Model Colleges if they face any difficulty while applying online.

Students seeking admission can choose from various Islamabad Model Colleges located in both urban and rural areas of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). Admissions will be offered strictly according to the FDE Admission Policy and available seats in each college and academic group.

The directorate has also released the complete admission schedule. The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on August 7, followed by document verification and interviews, which will continue until August 14. The first merit list will be published on August 17, and selected students must deposit their admission fee by August 18. A second merit list will be issued on August 19, while regular classes will commence on August 20.

Only students who are residents of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) or the sons and daughters of federal government employees living in Islamabad or Rawalpindi are eligible to apply. Candidates must fulfill all conditions mentioned in the official admission policy before submitting their applications.

The FDE has advised students to carefully review the college prospectus, subject combinations, and eligibility criteria available on the official online admission portal before completing the registration process. Choosing the correct academic group based on previous qualifications and future career goals is strongly recommended.
